2020 College Scholarship Contest
Atlantic Financial Federal Credit Union has once again partnered with the Credit Union Foundation of Maryland and DC for the 2020 College Scholarship program. AFFCU members entering their freshman through senior year of college or trade school are eligible to apply for one of twelve $1,000 scholarships.
Eligible AFFCU members may apply for one of ten $1,000 essay-based scholarships, one $1,000 video-based scholarship, and/or one $1,000 photo-based scholarship. And yes, eligible members may apply in all three categories!
Plus, AFFCU will also select the two top scoring AFFCU member entries to award our own $1,000 scholarships.
The 2020 Credit Union College Scholarship Program is underway now.
How To Enter
Submit your entry online through CU Foundation of MD & DC scholarship portal. Deadline for applications is Midnight, March 31, 2020.
This year’s essay topic:
“It’s ten years in the future – the year 2030. Describe your vision of how you will manage your personal finances then. Include how you will pay for things, save, and borrow. Imagine how your credit union will help make that vision a reality” (750 word max)
This year’s video topic:
“It’s ten years in the future – the year 2030. Create a 60-second video showing how you will manage your personal finances with your credit union as your financial services partner.”
This year’s photo theme:
“Innovation”
Apply For ScholarshipDeadline for applications is Midnight, March 31, 2020. Awards will be announced in May 2020.
