Important Information About the Personal Data Atlantic Financial Federal Credit Union (AFFCU) Collects and How It Is Used.

Atlantic Financial Federal Credit Union's mission is to be your primary financial institution. To achieve this objective, AFFCU is committed to offering financial products and services at the best possible price enabling you to meet all of your personal financial needs and goals. This includes providing typical consumer financial products and services such as savings accounts, checking accounts, loans and electronic conveniences. It also means that AFFCU will sometimes partner with non-affiliated parties and other companies to provide other discounted services that could be of great interest to you and save you money. AFFCU will only partner with organizations that share our commitment to credit union ideals and to the privacy and confidentiality policies and requirements we value and observe.

When you access this web site, AFFCU's E-Branch, AFFCU's E-Bill Pay, your E-Statement, or use AFFCU's other products and services, AFFCU and our authorized business partners (who enable us to deliver these products to you) will have access to your personal information. We do not sell or share any such information including your home or e-mail address to a third party for its own use. If at anytime in the future, it became necessary to share nonpublic information about you to a business partner or non-affiliated party giving you the opportunity to take advantage of a particular service, AFFCU will follow the required federal regulations allowing you to opt-out of any account information sharing.

The same as direct mail is used, AFFCU will periodically send e-mails thru a trusted e-mail service provider alerting you of account changes or promoting our products and services, or those of our affiliates, to members for whom we have recorded e-mail addresses. All members who receive the marketing e-mails will have the opportunity to opt out of this service at any time by simply clicking the unsubscribe button. As always, all members can opt out by contacting us.

  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others; and,
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our members and former members to affiliates or non-affiliated third parties except as permitted by law.

Our Security Measures -

We restrict access to nonpublic information about you to those employees and authorized business partners who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
