AFFCU provides member service at more than 2000 branch locations nationwide.

Our two wholly owned branches are full service branches where members can deposit and withdraw checks and cash, make loan payments, open new accounts, apply for and settle loans, rent safe deposit boxes (Hunt Valley only), cash in savings bonds, etc. The locations and hours are:

At the other 3000+ Credit Union Family Service Centers and shared branch outlet locations, members are able to complete many financial transactions normally performed at a teller window such as:

• withdraw up to $750 in cash from savings, checking and club accounts,
• deposit cash or checks into your savings, checking and club accounts,
• transfer funds from one account to another in the shared branch database,
• make loan payments,
• get account balances,
• obtain cash advance on VISA and line of credit loans,
• purchase money orders, traveler's checks and corporate "official" checks,
• cash U.S. postal money orders, most payroll, business and government checks up to $750,
• purchase theme park tickets and entertainment coupon books (if available),
• obtain photocopy, fax and notary services (if available)

Some policies, procedures and transaction capabilities may differ at each location. You must have your member number and a valid U.S. or state government-issued picture ID is required for verification of signatures on checks or receipts. Cash limits and holds may vary.

Surcharge FREE ATMs

AFFCU members have the choice of more than 35,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide for cash withdrawals and transfers at other credit unions and more than 5,500 7-Eleven stores through the CO-OP network. Many of the ATMs will also accept deposits. Our ATM locator will help you find an ATM close to you. ATMs in WaWa stores are also surcharge free but they are not a part of the CO-OP network so therefore are not found in our ATM locator.

If you regularly use a surcharge-free ATM but are still being charged AFFCU's $1 foreign ATM network fee, please contact us to give us the exact location you are using. Often we are able to load that ATM identifier into our data system resulting in you no longer being charged any ATM fee at all.

Totally FREE ATMs

Other than the three totally free ATMs that AFFCU owns located at each of our branches and in the Good Samaritan Hospital, AFFCU also has reciprocal agreements with credit unions located in the Baltimore Metro area for totally free ATM usage. If you use any of the ATM locations at the following credit unions you will not be surcharged or pay any other network fees.
